How HelmXP uses cookies on helmxp.com and the HelmXP platform.
Last updated: May 2026. Placeholder until the first published version is available.
HelmXP uses cookies in two contexts: the public marketing site (helmxp.com) and the authenticated platform ({your-institution}.helmxp.com).
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| helmxp_session | Maintains your authenticated session on the platform | Session / 7 days | Strictly necessary |
| _plausible | Privacy-respecting analytics (Plausible — no personal data) | Session | Analytics (no consent required) |
The helmxp_session cookie is set when you sign in to the platform. It is HttpOnly (not accessible by JavaScript), Secure (HTTPS only), and SameSite=Lax. It is required for the platform to function and cannot be disabled while you are signed in. This cookie contains only an opaque session identifier; it does not contain personal data.
HelmXP uses Plausible Analytics for traffic measurement on helmxp.com. Plausible is a privacy-respecting analytics tool: it does not set cross-site tracking cookies, does not collect IP addresses or browser fingerprints, and does not share data with advertising networks. No consent is required under GDPR for Plausible because it does not process personal data. If you prefer not to be counted, you can block the Plausible script via a browser ad-blocker.
HelmXP does not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or social media cookies on any of its properties. We do not sell or share browsing data with data brokers or advertising platforms.
